Formulated for acid-resistant terracotta and similar surfaces, it effectively clears away installation-related dirt, haze, and buildup without compromising the integrity of the material. Ideal for post-installation cleaning, Ares helps reveal the tile’s true surface, creating a clean, stable foundation for sealing and long-term care.

Instructions:

• Surface Cleaning and Preparation:

Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying Ares' Terracotta Cleaner. Remove any loose dust, dirt, or debris with a broom or vacuum cleaner. Conduct a preliminary test on a small, inconspicuous area to confirm compatibility.

• Product Application:

Dilution:

For porous and absorbent materials like terracotta, dilute 1 part product with 2 parts water.

For compact and less absorbent materials like ceramic tiles, dilute 1 part product with 4 parts water.

Apply the diluted solution using a scrubbing brush or a single-disc machine equipped with a suitable pad.

Allow the product to act for 10-15 minutes, periodically scrubbing the surface to enhance effectiveness.

Use non-abrasive tools like white pads or soft brushes suitable for the surface to avoid damage.

For highly absorbent surfaces, apply more product during cleaning to ensure coverage.

After the product has acted, add clean water to create an emulsion, spread it evenly, and then remove the excess with a wet vacuum.

Rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water.

• Residue Removal:

After scrubbing, rinse the area thoroughly with clean water to remove all cleaner residue. For heavily soiled areas, repeat the application process as necessary. Ensure all traces of the cleaner are removed before applying any sealants.

• Drying Time:

The floor may be used once it has dried after rinsing with water. Ensure the surface is completely dry before any reapplication.

• Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from freezing.
